In conjunction with the move, the team acquired additional equipment. With the added equipment and dedicated focus on quick-turn prototypes, Libra Industries™ NPI team was able to build and ship seven new prototype assemblies within the first two weeks at Plant 2.
Libra Industries™ electronic manufacturing, system integration, and box build operations are shared between two plants that are located within walking distance from each other. Each plant is state-of-the-art and offers the latest in climate and electrostatic control to ensure the cleanest, static-free environment. Plant One houses the company’s corporate offices as well as production board level assembly. Plant Two, just down the street, is now home to the New Product Introduction (NPI) Center and System Integration operations.
After undergoing the move, the NPI Center emerged from a three-day transition as team X-Factor whose mission is to reduce time-to-market for Libra Industries™ valued customers.
